The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced today that the Abidjan Cote d’Ivoire Temple groundbreaking will take place on 8th Novemeber, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. The temple site is located in Cocody City. Attendance at this ceremony is by invitation only, with the general public invited to view the proceedings live from local meetinghouses.

World-renowned Mormon Tabernacle Choir Changes Its Name

After more than 100 years, the world-renowned Mormon Tabernacle Choir is changing its name to “The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square.” The name modification, which drops the long-standing word "Mormon," follows an August 2018 statement by President Russell M. Nelson requesting the use of the full name of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the choir’s sponsoring organization.
